Projects / Clockwise Southampton
Located in the prestigious Mountbatten House, the latest Clockwise flexible workspace has launched in Southampton.
Each Clockwise site has a unique look and feel reflecting the local surroundings. Southampton’s maritime history and the city’s relationship with the water were the inspiration for the design by Hawkins Brown.
Communal areas have a boutique hotel aesthetic. Muted, natural tones of sage and peach are offset with bold copper and emerald green. The striking colour palette and luxe fabrics create a distinct and contemporary space whilst still aligning with the brand’s personality.
Functionality and flexibility are key to the success of Clockwise workspace. In addition to versatile open plan spaces, there are bright meeting rooms, breakout areas, private and semi-private meeting pods and booths, and an outdoor terrace.
Networking and collaboration are important for building relationships within the Clockwise community. Relaxed banquette seating and soft seating provide ‘landing space’ for impromptu meetings or social gatherings. The eye-catching ‘Bikini Island’ modular seating by Moroso is a standout feature in the reception area. Bar stools and high tables create informal spaces for spontaneous meetings around the café.
For members requiring focus space, there is a wide variety of dedicated desks, booths and pods. Bright, comfortable meeting rooms are fully equipped for hybrid working. All have a home from home, relaxed feel with stylish furnishings, rugs and artwork.
