Projects / The Brewery
Renovating a 1970’s office building in the thriving Kings Cross/Islington area of North London, Squire & Partners inspiration came from the location’s industrial heritage. A contemporary warehouse style, the floor to ceiling windows flood the interior with natural light, perfect for the open plan coworking style.
Contemporary office furniture
Further enhancing the loft style space, are the criss-cross metal balustrades on the balconies and the large interior Crittal windows creating a separate meeting room. Bureau were tasked with sourcing office furniture that would complement the contemporary, industrial aesthetic whilst also providing comfortable, residential style furniture for break outs.
Quick delivery
With a tight schedule to complete the office showcase, product was selected on the additional, and critical, criteria of a four-week turnaround.
Furniture solutions
Stylish solutions with an industrial style and a pared-back, Scandi design aesthetic were selected to provide multiple working environments for different tasks. Traditional workstations sit alongside more informal poser height stools and tables, creating space for informal meetings and encouraging interaction. Comfortable sofas and chairs create an attractive meet up space and a place for team members to relax.
Delineation with Shelving
Mirroring the Crittal windows, cage shelving, delineates the large space without blocking any of the natural light. Zig Zag shelving replicates the pattern of the Victorian scissor gate metalwork used on the exterior windows.
With a fully furnished office showcase, potential clients can appreciate the flexibility of the space and how they can achieve maximum benefit.
