Projects / British Steel Pensions
To provide a contemporary office that met all the needs of the busy British Steel Pensions team, designers Graven enlisted Bureau’s help. Achieving a fresh and inviting space, new contract furniture was added to complement the existing pieces from the previous office. The result, a comfortable, stylish and practical workspace.
Custom furniture solutions
Optimising the available space, Bureau worked with the design team and client on customised furniture solutions. The Narbutas Round system was modified to create productive workspaces with integrated storage, within the open plan area.
Creating a calm work environment
Furniture was sourced for an attractive and welcoming reception area, meeting rooms, kitchen and main workspace. A muted colour palette and generous use of wood elements across all areas, achieved a calm and natural aesthetic.
Office Installation
Despite current worldwide supplier lead time and delivery challenges, the team met the expected occupation date. Keeping to scheduled deadlines ensured minimum disruption during the planned relocation.
Move Mapping
Bureau’s Move team coordinated the office relocation to align with new furniture installation. Contents of filing cabinets and personal effects were transported to matched locations in the new space, reducing downtime. With no time wasted locating goods from the previous office, the team were up and running straight away.
Sustainable Office Clearance
Redundant furniture from the previous Glasgow office space was sustainably cleared. Bureau Move guarantee ‘nothing goes to landfill’ so desks and chairs were redistributed via our charitable partner.
